The Fogolar Furlan Brisbane was founded on 16th May, 1956. It’s establishment was suggested to Guerrino Giavon by Father Marino di Benedetto. Father di Benedetto was the chaplain on board the ship Lloyd Triestino in 1952 where he met Guerrino Giavon on his way to Australia.
